In Mastering Variations, Volume 1, Aaron O'Rourke shows mountain dulcimer players how to vary 7 tunes you're likely to hear at dulcimer clubs and festival jams. Each tune is arranged four ways:
- Rhythmic variation
- Melodic variation
- Harmonic variation
- All-Put-Together, combining the three
A basic version of every tune is included to get you started. No 1.5 fret is needed for this book.
Free downloadable audio lets you hear each variation. Get the audio files from Folkcraft.
